A French Baroque Midnight Mass

Our choir, soloists and instrumentalists are incredibly excited about the French Baroque Christmas Midnight Mass at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. All are suggested to arrive by 11:30p for prelude music. The centerpiece of the evening is a choral Mass by the French composer, Marc-Antoine Charpentier. The Messe de Minuit pour Noël is based on Christmas folksongs or noëls. The mass is a well-known favorite of both musicians and listeners alike. Cancellations for 9 December

Several cancellations to report: as a result of expected icy conditions due to temperatures in the low 20s overnight, the following changes have been made: 1) 8a Mass on Sunday, 10 Dec is cancelled, 2) the Adoration Chapel remains closed until further notice, 3) RE classes are cancelled on Sunday, 10 Dec, and 4) Compline at 7.30p on Sunday, 10 Dec is cancelled. As always, everyone should make the best decision for their family and be cautious while on campus. We send our appreciation to our facilities team who is busy spreading salt on campus!

Rorate Mass at 6.30a on Saturday, 9 December is cancelled.

The Adoration Chapel closes at 8p on Friday, 8 December. Check back for when it will re-open.
