


Liturgy in the Twenty-First Century: Issues and Perspectives
Fr Smith’s important address to the Sacra Liturgia Conference last year in New York, “Liturgical Formation and Catholic Identity” has been published along with the other proceedings in a new book entitled, Liturgy in the Twenty-First Century: Issues and Perspectives by T&T Clark, a major theological publishing house.


Dante’s Divine Comedy moved to Croghan Hall
Due to the overwhelming popularity of Nathan Barontini’s study on Dante’s Divine Comedy…the middle school building will not hold everyone!
From now on the class will be held in Croghan Hall on Tuesday nights at 7p from 7 June – 6 September.

Fourth of July Bike Parade
Knights of Columbus 9184 at Prince of Peace will be hosting a Fourth of July bike parade and bike safety rodeo at 10 a.m. on July 4 in the upper parking lot near Pope Francis House. Decorating of bikes is encouraged and participants please wear a helmet. Entry fee is five dollars or five canned goods to benefit St. Vincent dePaul at Prince of Peace. All ages are welcome. Email kofc9184@gmail.com with any questions or if a bike helmet is needed.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL SIGN-UP AND VOLUNTEERS
It’s time to register for Prince of Peace Vacation Bible School–Wings of Prayer with Amazing Angels and Super Saints.
Vacation Bible School will only be able to be offered with sufficient volunteers and attendees.
VBS is scheduled to be held 20-24 June from 9a-12p for Grades K5-5. $25/person; $100 family maximum. All Grades 6-Adult are invited to volunteer. Adult volunteers have their families attend VBS for free.

Barbara Nicolosi is the Founder and Chair Emeritus of Act One, Inc., a nonprofit program to train and mentor Christians for careers as Hollywood writers and executives. She is the Executive Director of the Galileo Studio at Azusa Pacific University, an adjunct professor of cinema and writing at Pepperdine University and Azusa Pacific University. She is a regular guest lecturer at the Catholic University of Valencia, in Spain, and the Catholic University of Milan. She is the co-author of Notes to Screenwriters: Advancing Your Story, Screenplay, and Career With Whatever Hollywood Throws at You. She is the co-editor of Behind the Screen: Hollywood Insiders on Faith and Culture. She is a contributor to Style, Sex and Substance; For the Beauty of the Church; Back to the Drawing Board: The Future of the Pro-Life Movement; and The Best Catholic Writing of 2005. She is the screenwriter of the 2017 theatrical release “Fatima”.
